This trip to Sicily was our first excursion with Request Italy, and every aspect and experience lived up to their reputation! The restaurants, hotels, local guides, cultural and scenic destinations were all carefully selected and top of their class.
Barbara and Rob Seaver eagerly shared their incredible historic and cultural knowledge on every site we visited. There was never a “tour” feel... We had time to explore and absorb the effects of the six cultures that rampaged through Sicily over the centuries—leaving their marks on culture, art, architecture, and food. Equally important, Barbara and Rob were tuned in and focused on the individual needs in our small group so everyone’s experiences could be enjoyable and memorable.
Of the many unforgettable highlights, we recall the day we shopped at the local food market with an extraordinary chef and then cooked and ate at his Michelin-starred restaurant. Barbara and Rob have established these extraordinary connections in every area we visited.
